Daily Maintenance Tips for Industrial Doors

Industrial doors are frequently used and subjected to constant pushing and pulling, especially in high-traffic areas. Without proper maintenance, they may become difficult to operate and lose their functionality. Like other mechanical equipment, industrial sliding doors also require regular maintenance. Unauthorized disassembly or replacement of any parts is strictly prohibited to avoid accidents. In case of any abnormalities, here are some daily maintenance tips for industrial doors:

Avoid hitting the industrial door with hard objects or scratching the surface of the profiles.

If the industrial door is stained with oil or other difficult-to-clean substances, use a detergent to clean it. It is best not to use strong acid or alkaline solutions, as they can damage the surface finish of the profiles and the protective film and oxide layer on the surface of hardware components, leading to rust. Be particularly careful when using sulfuric acid to clean walls to prevent the doors and windows from being stained.

The motor of the industrial door should be maintained at appropriate times. The reducer should be lubricated at least once every six months, and other components should also be inspected regularly and replaced in a timely manner. During use, collisions should be avoided as much as possible. For the torsion spring of the industrial door, if it becomes loose after a period of use, it should be tightened promptly, and replaced immediately if necessary.

When opening the industrial door, use moderate force and try to maintain a uniform speed during opening and closing.

If the industrial door becomes stiff or exhibits any other abnormalities during use, the cause should be identified promptly. If the customer cannot resolve the issue, they should contact the manufacturer or supplier of the industrial door so that the problem can be resolved in a timely manner.
